President’s Prize Mr Bertie Hallahan

Bertie Hallahan will host his president’s prize over the coming weekend. How fortunate we are to have someone of this calibre in his second year as club president. An invaluable committee member Bertie is always to the fore when something needs to be done. Just take a look at the course improvements over the past few years and you will find that he has been instrumental not only on the fundraising side but also willing to do his share when an experienced pair of hands is required. On the golf side of things Bertie is always available to represent the club at all competitions whether it be as a player or a supporter, and when transport is required you can always count on him. Never one to seek praise or recognition for his efforts, Bertie just gets on with the job and derives his satisfaction from knowing that his club is constantly improving. You can show your appreciation for our President and the valuable contribution he has made to our club by turning up in large numbers for the competition and the presentation on Sunday evening in the clubhouse.
