Joint Venture

Over the past few weeks a team of willing volunteers in cooperation with the regular course staff have undertaken a number of tasks connected with the overall improvement of the course. The fence dividing the 17th and 18th fairways has been cleared on both sides thus eliminating the problem of lost balls in this area. By now most of the trees throughout the course have been pruned and shaped and no doubt will be a sight to behold when in full bloom. Prior to the hollow-tining, all the greens have been checked for weeds and the weeds removed. The lake to the right of the 4th green, along with all the streams have been cleared of weeds and the results are obvious. Work has also been done to clear the areas in front of the 14th tee and to the right of the 16th green. Well done to all who helped out and a reminder to all members that you too can help by repairing pitch marks and replacing divots. Lets all do our share to keep the course in top condition and worthy of our title as Club of the Year.
