Captain's Drive – In.

Gents captain Tom Power and lady captain Eithne Ashby will hold their captain's drive in on Sunday 18th December. This will be followed by a mixed scramble at 1:00p.m with Ceol agus Craic and a draw for sub to follow. Please show your support for our newly elected Captains by turning up on the day.

Friday night is Cards night at West Waterford.

Continuing on Friday 9th and 16th December card lovers can enjoy a game of 45 in the comfortable surrounds of the stove. Everyone is welcome and if you fancy a pint or two we can arrange transport home.

South East Junior Alliance

Congratulations to club members Terry O'Callaghan and Phil Kinsella who were placed second and third respectively at Waterford Golf Club. Next outing is at Clonmel Golf Club on 8th January 2012.

West Waterford Challenge Cup

West Waterford challenge trophy update, Dungarvan united Mark Crotty (gissie) scores 28pts for 13 holes to lead West Waterford challenge and look certain to book a place in the final in March. Thomas Kennelly (dinger) representing the Park Hotel slips off top of table but surely an injection of new equipment and coach by sponsor may challenge again. Holder of the challenge cup 2011. Tommy Pratt of Lismore soccer club had not come out of the traps yet, but surely a competitor to keep an eye on.

Winter League 2012

Society News at West Waterford

The Seanchai Society holds their outing next Saturday 10th December at 11:00am

Ardmore/Clashmore will hold their Christmas society outing on Saturday 17th December at 10:00am.

The Brickey Society outing is scheduled for Christmas week, date to be confirmed.

Killeagh Society

Killeagh GAA Society held their 19th annual Christmas outing at West Waterford on Saturday 3rd December. Thanks for the hard work put in by Ray Rochford and his committee, over 50 golfers battling it out for the numerous prizes on offer. Wishing the best of luck to the incoming Captain Ger Fitzgibbon who takes over for 2012
