Ladies Notes:- w/e 18th Dec 2011
Fixtures: 9hls December on-going, 2 cards to count.
Winter League: The draw has taken place for the winter league and teams are posted in ladies locker room. First round 13hls singles commences on January 2nd and runs until January 15th. Re-entry for singles rounds however only best card will count per round.
Captains Drive-in: The Captain's drive-in took place on Sunday 18th December. The Ladies and Gents turned out in large numbers on a bright crisp day. Our Lady Captain Eithne Ashby showed her golfing skills when she hit a superb drive down the fairway, followed by Junior Captain Thomas Conway and Captain Tom Power. We then had the usual Captain's scramble followed by presentation of prizes, see gents notes for results.
A great evening of entertainment followed with music by Mark Long and finger food provided by Bridget.
Congratulations to our Lady Captain Eithne Ashby, men's Captain Tom Power, Junior Captain Thomas Conway,we wish them all the best of luck for 2012 and ask all the members to help and support in anyway possible to make it another memorable year for the club.
